New Plugin Idea: Author Archives
I know I have previously published a hack that will give you the ability to produce author archives, it just occurred to me that, with the new functionality available to me in MT 3.0, I can write a plugin that will do the same thing, without having to patch the core MT code.
More to come as I develop the idea further. Feature requests are more than welcome.

Sounds excellent, and I'd love to see it. I hope it will allow a single author page listing all entries by an author across the entie installation, no matter which blog they are in. (and even better, if it can be sorted by date, all mixed together)

Another enthusiastic vote for your planned Author archives. I am using Categories to do it now but this will get messy when I add a drop down with guest authors like they have at http://www.corante.com/many/ .In fact this whole pacakge would make a great plug-in!
